ਤੋਟਿ ਨ ਆਵੈ ਕਦੇ ਮੂਲਿ ਪੂਰਨ ਭੰਡਾਰ ॥
tott na aavai kade mool pooran bhanddaar |
There is never any deficiency at all the Lord's treasures are over-flowing.
(ਹੇ ਭਾਈ! ਸਾਧ ਸੰਗਤਿ ਇਕ ਐਸਾ ਅਸਥਾਨ ਹੈ ਜਿਥੇ ਬਖ਼ਸ਼ਸ਼ਾਂ ਦੇ) ਭੰਡਾਰੇ ਭਰੇ ਰਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ, (ਉਥੇ ਇਹਨਾਂ ਬਖ਼ਸ਼ਸ਼ਾਂ ਦੀ) ਕਦੇ ਭੀ ਤੋਟ ਨਹੀਂ ਆਉਂਦੀ।
ਚਰਨ ਕਮਲ ਮਨਿ ਤਨਿ ਬਸੇ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਅਗਮ ਅਪਾਰ ॥੨॥
charan kamal man tan base prabh agam apaar |2|
His Lotus Feet are enshrined within my mind and body God is inaccessible and infinite. ||2||
(ਜੇਹੜਾ ਭੀ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਸਾਧ ਸੰਗਤਿ ਵਿਚ ਨਿਵਾਸ ਰੱਖਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਸ ਦੇ) ਮਨ ਵਿਚ (ਉਸ ਦੇ) ਹਿਰਦੇ ਵਿਚ ਅਪਹੁੰਚ ਤੇ ਬੇਅੰਤ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੇ ਸੋਹਣੇ ਚਰਣ ਟਿਕੇ ਰਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ ॥੨॥
ਬਸਤ ਕਮਾਵਤ ਸਭਿ ਸੁਖੀ ਕਿਛੁ ਊਨ ਨ ਦੀਸੈ ॥
basat kamaavat sabh sukhee kichh aoon na deesai |
All those who work for Him dwell in peace you can see that they lack nothing.
(ਹੇ ਭਾਈ! ਜੇਹੜੇ ਭੀ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਸਾਧ ਸੰਗਤਿ ਵਿਚ) ਨਿਵਾਸ ਰੱਖਦੇ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਨਾਮ-ਸਿਮਰਨ ਦੀ ਕਮਾਈ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ, ਉਹ ਸਾਰੇ ਸੁਖੀ ਰਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ, ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਕਿਸੇ ਗੱਲੇ ਕੋਈ ਥੁੜ ਨਹੀਂ ਦਿੱਸਦੀ।
ਸੰਤ ਪ੍ਰਸਾਦਿ ਭੇਟੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਪੂਰਨ ਜਗਦੀਸੈ ॥੩॥
sant prasaad bhette prabhoo pooran jagadeesai |3|
By the Grace of the Saints, I have met God, the Perfect Lord of the Universe. ||3||
ਗੁਰੂ ਦੀ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਨਾਲ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਜਗਤ ਦੇ ਮਾਲਕ ਪੂਰਨ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਜੀ ਮਿਲ ਪੈਂਦੇ ਹਨ ॥੩॥
ਜੈ ਜੈ ਕਾਰੁ ਸਭੈ ਕਰਹਿ ਸਚੁ ਥਾਨੁ ਸੁਹਾਇਆ ॥
jai jai kaar sabhai kareh sach thaan suhaaeaa |
Everyone congratulates me, and celebrates my victory the home of the True Lord is so beautiful!
(ਹੇ ਭਾਈ! ਜੇਹੜੇ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਸਾਧ ਸੰਗਤਿ ਵਿਚ ਟਿਕਦੇ ਹਨ) ਸਾਰੇ ਲੋਕ (ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੀ) ਸੋਭਾ-ਵਡਿਆਈ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ। ਸਾਧ ਸੰਗਤਿ ਇਕ ਐਸਾ ਸੋਹਣਾ ਥਾਂ ਹੈ ਜੋ ਸਦਾ ਕਾਇਮ ਰਹਿਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈ।
ਜਪਿ ਨਾਨਕ ਨਾਮੁ ਨਿਧਾਨ ਸੁਖ ਪੂਰਾ ਗੁਰੁ ਪਾਇਆ ॥੪॥੩੩॥੬੩॥

Nanak chants the Naam, the Name of the Lord, the treasure of peace I have found the Perfect Guru. ||4||33||63||
ਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ! (ਸਾਧ ਸੰਗਤਿ ਦੀ ਬਰਕਤਿ ਨਾਲ) ਸਾਰੇ ਸੁਖਾਂ ਦੇ ਖ਼ਜ਼ਾਨੇ ਹਰਿ-ਨਾਮ ਨੂੰ ਜਪ ਕੇ ਪੂਰੇ ਗੁਰੂ ਦਾ (ਸਦਾ ਲਈ) ਮਿਲਾਪ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕਰ ਲਈਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੪॥੩੩॥੬੩॥

ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਆਰਾਧੀਐ ਹੋਈਐ ਆਰੋਗ ॥
har har har aaraadheeai hoeeai aarog |
Worship and adore the Lord, Har, Har, Har, and you shall be free of disease.
ਹੇ ਭਾਈ! ਸਦਾ ਹੀ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਸਿਮਰਨਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ, (ਸਿਮਰਨ ਦੀ ਬਰਕਤਿ ਨਾਲ ਵਿਕਾਰ ਆਦਿਕ) ਰੋਗਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਰਹਿਤ ਹੋ ਜਾਈਦਾ ਹੈ।
ਰਾਮਚੰਦ ਕੀ ਲਸਟਿਕਾ ਜਿਨਿ ਮਾਰਿਆ ਰੋਗੁ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥

This is the Lord's healing rod, which eradicates all disease. ||1||Pause||
ਇਹ ਸਿਮਰਨ ਹੀ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਰਾਮਚੰਦ੍ਰ ਜੀ ਦੀ ਸੋਟੀ ਹੈ (ਜਿਸ ਸੋਟੀ ਦੇ ਡਰ ਕਰਕੇ ਕੋਈ ਦੁਸ਼ਟ ਸਿਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਚੁੱਕ ਸਕਦਾ ਸੀ)। ਇਸ (ਸਿਮਰਨ) ਨੇ (ਹਰੇਕ ਸਿਮਰਨ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੇ ਦੇ ਅੰਦਰੋਂ ਹਰੇਕ) ਰੋਗ ਦੂਰ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
ਗੁਰੁ ਪੂਰਾ ਹਰਿ ਜਾਪੀਐ ਨਿਤ ਕੀਚੈ ਭੋਗੁ ॥

Meditating on the Lord, through the Perfect Guru, he constantly enjoys pleasure.
ਹੇ ਭਾਈ! ਪੂਰੇ ਗੁਰੂ ਦੀ ਸਰਨ ਪੈਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਜਪਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ। (ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ) ਸਦਾ ਆਤਮਕ ਆਨੰਦ ਮਾਣ ਸਕੀਦਾ ਹੈ।
ਸਾਧਸੰਗਤਿ ਕੈ ਵਾਰਣੈ ਮਿਲਿਆ ਸੰਜੋਗੁ ॥੧॥
saadhasangat kai vaaranai miliaa sanjog |1|
I am devoted to the Saadh Sangat, the Company of the Holy I have been united with my Lord. ||1||
ਗੁਰੂ ਦੀ ਸੰਗਤਿ ਤੋਂ ਕੁਰਬਾਨ ਜਾਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ (ਸਾਧ ਸੰਗਤਿ ਦੀ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਨਾਲ) ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦੇ ਮਿਲਾਪ ਦਾ ਅਵਸਰ ਬਣਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੧॥
ਜਿਸੁ ਸਿਮਰਤ ਸੁਖੁ ਪਾਈਐ ਬਿਨਸੈ ਬਿਓਗੁ ॥

Contemplating Him, peace is obtained, and separation is ended.
ਜਿਸ ਦਾ ਸਿਮਰਨ ਕੀਤਿਆਂ ਆਤਮਕ ਆਨੰਦ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਨਾਲੋਂ ਵਿਛੋੜਾ ਦੂਰ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
ਨਾਨਕ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਸਰਣਾਗਤੀ ਕਰਣ ਕਾਰਣ ਜੋਗੁ ॥੨॥੩੪॥੬੪॥

Nanak seeks the Sanctuary of God, the All-powerful Creator, the Cause of causes. ||2||34||64||
ਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ! ਉਸ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੀ ਸਰਨ ਪਏ ਰਹਿਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ, ਜੋ ਜਗਤ ਦੀ ਰਚਨਾ ਕਰਨ ਦੇ ਸਮਰੱਥ ਹੈ ॥੨॥੩੪॥੬੪॥

ੴ ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਪ੍ਰਸਾਦਿ ॥

One Universal Creator God. By The Grace Of The True Guru:
ਅਕਾਲ ਪੁਰਖ ਇੱਕ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਸਤਿਗੁਰੂ ਦੀ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਨਾਲ ਮਿਲਦਾ ਹੈ।
ਅਵਰਿ ਉਪਾਵ ਸਭਿ ਤਿਆਗਿਆ ਦਾਰੂ ਨਾਮੁ ਲਇਆ ॥
avar upaav sabh tiaagiaa daaroo naam leaa |
I have given up all other efforts, and have taken the medicine of the Naam, the Name of the Lord.
(ਹੇ ਭਾਈ! ਜਿਸ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਨੇ ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਗੁਰੂ ਦਾ ਪੱਲਾ ਫੜਿਆ ਹੈ, ਹੋਰ ਸਾਰੇ ਹੀਲੇ ਛੱਡ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ (ਹੀ) ਦਵਾਈ ਵਰਤੀ ਹੈ,
ਤਾਪ ਪਾਪ ਸਭਿ ਮਿਟੇ ਰੋਗ ਸੀਤਲ ਮਨੁ ਭਇਆ ॥੧॥
taap paap sabh mitte rog seetal man bheaa |1|
Fevers, sins and all diseases are eradicated, and my mind is cooled and soothed. ||1||
ਉਸ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਦੁੱਖ-ਕਲੇਸ਼, ਸਾਰੇ ਪਾਪ, ਸਾਰੇ ਰੋਗ ਮਿਟ ਗਏ ਹਨ ਉਸ ਦਾ ਮਨ (ਵਿਕਾਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਤਪਸ਼ ਤੋਂ ਬਚ ਕੇ) ਠੰਢਾ-ਠਾਰ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ ॥੧॥
ਗੁਰੁ ਪੂਰਾ ਆਰਾਧਿਆ ਸਗਲਾ ਦੁਖੁ ਗਇਆ ॥
gur pooraa aaraadhiaa sagalaa dukh geaa |
Worshipping the Perfect Guru in adoration, all pains are dispelled.
ਹੇ ਭਾਈ! ਜੇਹੜਾ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਪੂਰੇ ਗੁਰੂ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਹਿਰਦੇ ਵਿਚ ਵਸਾਈ ਰੱਖਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਸ ਦਾ ਸਾਰਾ ਦੁੱਖ-ਕਲੇਸ਼ ਦੂਰ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ,
ਰਾਖਨਹਾਰੈ ਰਾਖਿਆ ਅਪਨੀ ਕਰਿ ਮਇਆ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
raakhanahaarai raakhiaa apanee kar meaa |1| rahaau |
The Savior Lord has saved me He has blessed me with His Kind Mercy. ||1||Pause||
(ਕਿਉਂਕਿ) ਰੱਖਿਆ ਕਰਨ ਦੇ ਸਮਰੱਥ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਨੇ (ਉਸ ਉਤੇ) ਕਿਰਪਾ ਕਰ ਕੇ (ਦੁੱਖਾਂ ਕਲੇਸ਼ਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਸਦਾ) ਉਸ ਦੀ ਰੱਖਿਆ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੈ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
ਬਾਹ ਪਕੜਿ ਪ੍ਰਭਿ ਕਾਢਿਆ ਕੀਨਾ ਅਪਨਇਆ ॥
baah pakarr prabh kaadtiaa keenaa apaneaa |
Grabbing hold of my arm, God has pulled me up and out He has made me His own.
(ਹੇ ਭਾਈ! ਜਿਸ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਨੇ ਗੁਰੂ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਹਿਰਦੇ ਵਿਚ ਵਸਾਇਆ ਹੈ) ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਨੇ (ਉਸ ਦੀ) ਬਾਂਹ ਫੜ ਕੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣਾ ਬਣਾ ਲਿਆ ਹੈ।
ਸਿਮਰਿ ਸਿਮਰਿ ਮਨ ਤਨ ਸੁਖੀ ਨਾਨਕ ਨਿਰਭਇਆ ॥੨॥੧॥੬੫॥
simar simar man tan sukhee naanak nirabheaa |2|1|65|
Meditating, meditating in remembrance, my mind and body are at peace Nanak has become fearless. ||2||1||65||
ਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ! ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਸਿਮਰ ਸਿਮਰ ਕੇ ਉਸ ਦਾ ਮਨ ਉਸ ਦਾ ਹਿਰਦਾ ਆਨੰਦ-ਭਰਪੂਰ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ, ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ (ਤਾਪ ਪਾਪ ਰੋਗ ਆਦਿਕਾਂ ਦਾ) ਕੋਈ ਡਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਰਹਿ ਜਾਂਦਾ ॥੨॥੧॥੬੫॥

ਕਰੁ ਧਰਿ ਮਸਤਕਿ ਥਾਪਿਆ ਨਾਮੁ ਦੀਨੋ ਦਾਨਿ ॥
kar dhar masatak thaapiaa naam deeno daan |
Placing His Hand upon my forehead, God has given me the gift of His Name.
ਹੇ ਭਾਈ! (ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਆਪਣੇ ਭਗਤ ਜਨਾਂ ਦੇ) ਮੱਥੇ ਉੱਤੇ (ਆਪਣਾ) ਹੱਥ ਧਰ ਕੇ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਥਾਪਣਾ ਦੇਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਬਖ਼ਸ਼ਸ਼ ਦੇ ਤੌਰ ਤੇ (ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣਾ) ਨਾਮ ਦੇਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
ਸਫਲ ਸੇਵਾ ਪਾਰਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਕੀ ਤਾ ਕੀ ਨਹੀ ਹਾਨਿ ॥੧॥
safal sevaa paarabraham kee taa kee nahee haan |1|
One who performs fruitful service for the Supreme Lord God, never suffers any loss. ||1||
ਹੇ ਭਾਈ! ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦੀ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੋਈ ਸੇਵਾ-ਭਗਤੀ ਜੀਵਨ-ਮਨੋਰਥ ਪੂਰਾ ਕਰਦੀ ਹੈ, ਇਹ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੋਈ ਸੇਵਾ-ਭਗਤੀ ਵਿਅਰਥ ਨਹੀਂ ਜਾਂਦੀ ॥੧॥
ਆਪੇ ਹੀ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਰਾਖਤਾ ਭਗਤਨ ਕੀ ਆਨਿ ॥
aape hee prabh raakhataa bhagatan kee aan |
God Himself saves the honor of His devotees.
ਹੇ ਭਾਈ! ਆਪਣੇ ਭਗਤਾਂ ਦੀ ਇੱਜ਼ਤ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਆਪ ਹੀ ਬਚਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
ਜੋ ਜੋ ਚਿਤਵਹਿ ਸਾਧ ਜਨ ਸੋ ਲੇਤਾ ਮਾਨਿ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
jo jo chitaveh saadh jan so letaa maan |1| rahaau |
Whatever God's Holy servants wish for, He grants to them. ||1||Pause||
ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦੇ ਭਗਤ ਜੋ ਕੁਝ ਆਪਣੇ ਮਨ ਵਿਚ ਧਾਰਦੇ ਹਨ, ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਉਹੀ ਕੁਝ ਮੰਨ ਲੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
ਸਰਣਿ ਪਰੇ ਚਰਣਾਰਬਿੰਦ ਜਨ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਕੇ ਪ੍ਰਾਨ ॥
saran pare charanaarabind jan prabh ke praan |
God's humble servants seek the Sanctuary of His Lotus Feet they are God's very breath of life.
ਹੇ ਭਾਈ! ਜੇਹੜੇ ਸੰਤ ਜਨ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੇ ਸੋਹਣੇ ਚਰਨਾਂ ਦਾ ਆਸਰਾ ਲੈਂਦੇ ਹਨ, ਉਹ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਨੂੰ ਜਿੰਦ ਵਰਗੇ ਪਿਆਰੇ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ।
ਸਹਜਿ ਸੁਭਾਇ ਨਾਨਕ ਮਿਲੇ ਜੋਤੀ ਜੋਤਿ ਸਮਾਨ ॥੨॥੨॥੬੬॥
sehaj subhaae naanak mile jotee jot samaan |2|2|66|
O Nanak, they automatically, intuitively meet God their light merges into the Light. ||2||2||66||
ਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ! ਉਹ ਸੰਤ ਜਨ ਆਤਮਕ ਅਡੋਲਤਾ ਵਿਚ ਟਿਕ ਕੇ ਪ੍ਰੇਮ ਵਿਚ ਟਿਕ ਕੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਨਾਲ ਮਿਲ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ। ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਜਿੰਦ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੀ ਜੋਤਿ ਵਿਚ ਲੀਨ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ ॥੨॥੨॥੬੬॥

God Himself has given me the Support of His Lotus Feet.
ਹੇ ਭਾਈ! (ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਸੇਵਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਾਧ ਸੰਗਤਿ ਵਿਚ) ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਨੇ ਆਪ ਆਪਣੇ ਸੋਹਣੇ ਚਰਨਾਂ ਦਾ ਆਸਰਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ,
ਪ੍ਰਭ ਸਰਣਾਗਤਿ ਜਨ ਪਰੇ ਤਾ ਕਾ ਸਦ ਪਰਤਾਪੁ ॥੧॥
prabh saranaagat jan pare taa kaa sad parataap |1|
God's humble servants seek His Sanctuary they are respected and famous forever. ||1||
ਉਹ ਸੇਵਕ ਉਸ ਦਾ ਸਦਾ ਕਾਇਮ ਰਹਿਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਪਰਤਾਪ ਵੇਖ ਕੇ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਸਰਨ ਪਏ ਰਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ ॥੧॥
ਰਾਖਨਹਾਰ ਅਪਾਰ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਤਾ ਕੀ ਨਿਰਮਲ ਸੇਵ ॥

God is the unparalleled Savior and Protector service to Him is immaculate and pure.
ਹੇ ਭਾਈ! ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਬੇਅੰਤ ਅਤੇ ਰੱਖਿਆ ਕਰਨ ਦੇ ਸਮਰੱਥ ਹੈ, (ਸਾਧ ਸੰਗਤਿ ਵਿਚ ਟਿਕ ਕੇ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੋਈ) ਉਸ ਦੀ ਸੇਵਾ-ਭਗਤੀ (ਜੀਵਨ ਨੂੰ) ਪਵਿੱਤਰ (ਬਣਾ ਦੇਂਦੀ ਹੈ)।
ਰਾਮ ਰਾਜ ਰਾਮਦਾਸ ਪੁਰਿ ਕੀਨੑੇ ਗੁਰਦੇਵ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥

ਗੁਰੂ ਨੇ ਸਾਧ ਸੰਗਤਿ ਵਿਚ ਰੂਹਾਨੀ ਰਾਜ ਕਾਇਮ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
ਸਦਾ ਸਦਾ ਹਰਿ ਧਿਆਈਐ ਕਿਛੁ ਬਿਘਨੁ ਨ ਲਾਗੈ ॥
sadaa sadaa har dhiaaeeai kichh bighan na laagai |
Forever and ever, meditate on the Lord, and no obstacles will obstruct you.
(ਸਾਧ ਸੰਗਤਿ ਵਿਚ ਟਿਕ ਕੇ) ਸਦਾ ਹੀ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦਾ ਧਿਆਨ ਧਰਨਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ (ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਜੀਵਨ ਦੇ ਰਸਤੇ ਵਿਚ) ਕੋਈ ਰੁਕਾਵਟ ਨਹੀਂ ਪੈਂਦੀ।
ਨਾਨਕ ਨਾਮੁ ਸਲਾਹੀਐ ਭਇ ਦੁਸਮਨ ਭਾਗੈ ॥੨॥੩॥੬੭॥
naanak naam salaaheeai bhe dusaman bhaagai |2|3|67|
O Nanak, praising the Naam, the Name of the Lord, the fear of enemies runs away. ||2||3||67||
ਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ! ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦੇ ਨਾਮ ਦੀ ਵਡਿਆਈ ਕਰਨੀ ਚਾਹੀਦੀ ਹੈ (ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੇ) ਡਰ ਦੇ ਕਾਰਨ (ਕਾਮਾਦਿਕ) ਸਾਰੇ ਵੈਰੀ ਨੱਸ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ ॥੨॥੩॥੬੭॥

Worship and adore God in your mind and body join the Company of the Holy.
ਹੇ ਭਾਈ! ਸਾਧ ਸੰਗਤਿ ਵਿਚ ਮਿਲ ਕੇ ਮਨ ਨਾਲ ਹਿਰਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦਾ ਆਰਾਧਨ ਕਰਦੇ ਰਹਿਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ।
ਉਚਰਤ ਗੁਨ ਗੋਪਾਲ ਜਸੁ ਦੂਰ ਤੇ ਜਮੁ ਭਾਗੈ ॥੧॥

Chanting the Glorious Praises of the Lord of the Universe, the Messenger of Death runs far away. ||1||
ਜਗਤ ਦੇ ਰੱਖਿਅਕ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੇ ਗੁਣ ਅਤੇ ਜਸ ਉਚਾਰਦਿਆਂ ਜਮ (ਭੀ) ਦੂਰ ਤੋਂ ਹੀ ਭੱਜ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੧॥
ਰਾਮ ਨਾਮੁ ਜੋ ਜਨੁ ਜਪੈ ਅਨਦਿਨੁ ਸਦ ਜਾਗੈ ॥
raam naam jo jan japai anadin sad jaagai |
That humble being who chants the Lord's Name, remains always awake and aware, night and day.
ਹੇ ਭਾਈ! ਜੇਹੜਾ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਜਪਦਾ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਹਰ ਵੇਲੇ ਸਦਾ (ਵਿਕਾਰਾਂ ਵਲੋਂ) ਸੁਚੇਤ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ।
