How to remove voice or instruments

  1. Press "Choose file" and pick the kirtan recording. A video file works too.
  2. Choose a method. For singing along, pick "Karaoke — clearest music": it takes the voice out and keeps harmonium and tabla natural. To take out tabla or harmonium instead, use one of the two "AI separation" options, which split the recording into four parts. "Quick voice remover" is instant but only works on studio stereo recordings.
  3. Press "Separate" and wait. The first time you use an AI option it downloads once. After that it starts quickly.
  4. Use the buttons at the top of the mixer, like "Karaoke (no voice)" or "Without tabla", or move each slider yourself.
  5. Press "Download this mix (WAV)" to keep the version you made.

Questions

What can I use this for?

Sing a shabad with the real harmonium and tabla but without the ragi's voice. Or take the tabla out and play along on your own tabla. Or listen to the voice alone to catch the words and the small turns in the melody.

Is my recording uploaded?

No. All the separating happens on your own device. That is also why it can be slow on an older phone.

The voice is still faintly there. Can I remove it completely?

Not always. When voice and harmonium play the same notes they are tightly mixed. "Karaoke — clearest music" on a computer gives the cleanest result.

It stopped half way on my phone.

Try "AI separation — fast", or use a shorter piece of the recording. Long recordings need a lot of memory.

Can I use the separated tracks anywhere I like?

Only for your own practice, unless the recording is yours. The kirtan still belongs to the ragis who recorded it.

  3. "ਵੱਖ ਕਰੋ" ਦਬਾ ਕੇ ਉਡੀਕ ਕਰੋ। ਪਹਿਲੀ ਵਾਰ AI ਢੰਗ ਵਰਤਣ ਉੱਤੇ ਇਹ ਇੱਕ ਵਾਰ ਡਾਊਨਲੋਡ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ। ਉਸ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਛੇਤੀ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ।
  4. ਮਿਕਸਰ ਦੇ ਉੱਪਰ ਵਾਲੇ ਬਟਨ ਵਰਤੋ, ਜਿਵੇਂ "ਕਰਾਓਕੇ (ਆਵਾਜ਼ ਤੋਂ ਬਿਨਾਂ)" ਜਾਂ "ਤਬਲੇ ਤੋਂ ਬਿਨਾਂ", ਜਾਂ ਹਰ ਸਲਾਈਡਰ ਆਪ ਖਿਸਕਾਓ।

ਨਹੀਂ। ਸਾਰਾ ਕੰਮ ਤੁਹਾਡੀ ਆਪਣੀ ਡਿਵਾਈਸ ਉੱਤੇ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ। ਇਸੇ ਕਰਕੇ ਪੁਰਾਣੇ ਫ਼ੋਨ ਉੱਤੇ ਇਹ ਹੌਲੀ ਚੱਲ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ।

ਆਵਾਜ਼ ਹਾਲੇ ਵੀ ਥੋੜ੍ਹੀ ਸੁਣਦੀ ਹੈ। ਕੀ ਪੂਰੀ ਹਟ ਸਕਦੀ ਹੈ?

ਹਮੇਸ਼ਾ ਨਹੀਂ। ਜਦੋਂ ਆਵਾਜ਼ ਅਤੇ ਹਾਰਮੋਨੀਅਮ ਇੱਕੋ ਸੁਰ ਵਜਾਉਂਦੇ ਹਨ ਤਾਂ ਉਹ ਬਹੁਤ ਘੁਲੇ-ਮਿਲੇ ਹੁੰਦੇ ਹਨ। ਕੰਪਿਊਟਰ ਉੱਤੇ "ਕਰਾਓਕੇ — ਸਾਫ਼ ਸੰਗੀਤ" ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਸਾਫ਼ ਨਤੀਜਾ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ।

ਮੇਰੇ ਫ਼ੋਨ ਉੱਤੇ ਇਹ ਅੱਧ ਵਿੱਚ ਰੁਕ ਗਿਆ।

"AI ਨਾਲ ਵੱਖ ਕਰਨਾ — ਤੇਜ਼" ਵਰਤੋ, ਜਾਂ ਰਿਕਾਰਡਿੰਗ ਦਾ ਛੋਟਾ ਹਿੱਸਾ ਲਵੋ। ਲੰਮੀ ਰਿਕਾਰਡਿੰਗ ਨੂੰ ਬਹੁਤ ਮੈਮਰੀ ਚਾਹੀਦੀ ਹੈ।

ਕੀ ਵੱਖ ਕੀਤੇ ਟਰੈਕ ਮੈਂ ਕਿਤੇ ਵੀ ਵਰਤ ਸਕਦਾ ਹਾਂ?
